School Zone Changes for 2026-2027
New Caney ISD is among the fastest-growing school districts in Texas. Student enrollment growth at times necessitates changes to school zones to balance school enrollments and maintain high-quality learning environments for students. At the October 20 regular meeting, the Board of Trustees approved two proposals for school zone changes that would begin with the 2026-2027 school year. Proposal 1 impacts approximately 225-250 students. Proposal 2 impacts approximately 150-175 students.
