Onflo Product Roadmap — Top Highlights of our Upcoming Release
This release brings a fully AI-powered agent experience to the front lines — a 24/7 phone agent that talks to callers like a person, and in-ticket AI resolution assistance and Natural language search that surfaces the right answer before your agents even go looking for it. Underneath, IT teams get linked assets for carts and shared devices, a new integration for remote-support, and a far more capable automation engine. And across the board, admins get more control: department-level workspaces, shared team permissions, custom fields, better chatbot scans, and updated dashboards you can filter, save, and share.
Introducing Flo: A 24/7 AI phone agent for your district
Give callers a natural, conversational experience with Onflo's new AI Phone Agent named Flo.
Onflo will now support complete setting control, built for AI voice agents, including smarter call routing, clearer escalation paths and direct phone system integration. Flo understands intent, identifies callers automatically, and routes each call to the right building or department with full context. Flo can handle after-hours calls and safety escalations instantly, so your team gets connected only on those issues that need their intervention.
AI-based resolution assistance for each ticket
Agents will now see proactive AI suggestions and alerts pinned to the conversation to inform about relevant context or recommended actions without having to ask. AI can flag critical tickets, and inform when common resolutions are possible for a ticket from existing knowledgebase. This means agents now spend less time digging for context, and provide faster answers for students, staff, and families.
Linked Assets: move a whole cart in one action
Assets that belong together can now be connected using parent/child relationships or linked together for seamless operations – these can be laptops on a moveable library cart, devices on a charging station, peripherals paired with a machine etc. With this new capability, it is easier to re-assign the cart's location and every device on it moves automatically, with every action logged and reversible.
Remote support, connected: BeyondTrust (Bomgar) integration
Onflo will now connect to the remote support tooling your IT team already relies on. This ensures secure access to diagnose, and fix student and teacher devices, reducing the need to switch between screens.
Workflows 2.0: automation that scales with your need
A rebuilt workflow module to provide far more granular control over automations across Tickets, Assets, and Users, with plain-language previews and execution logs, so you always know what ran and why. The new triggers, condition, and action builder will provide greater flexibility to build automation that scales as your district grows.
Department Modules: one district account, separate workspaces
Onflo will now allow you to split your district account into departments (Transportation, IT, HR, Facilities etc.) that share the platform but keep their own tickets, work and information separate. A simple top-nav switcher lets admins move between their assigned modules, or view everything at the district level.
Teams & Permission Sets: consistent access, without the busywork
Group agents into a team and assign shared permission sets instead of configuring access person by person. With the new capability, Onflo lets you update the set once, and every member inherits it instantly. Directory groups synced from Active Directory, Azure, or Google appear automatically, so access stays accurate as your staff changes.
Custom Fields: Capture exactly what your district needs
Onflo will now provide more flexibility to build and use custom fields specific to your needs, without the need for additional coding. Districts can control precisely when and where each one appears, from ticket types to asset categories to specific roles. These fields can be used in automation and reports, so every workflow reflects the data that matters to your district.
Subdomain chatbot scans to improve accuracy
Onflo can now scan a single subdomain instead of your entire district website. This is ideal for setting up individual school chatbot knowledge, without pulling in unrelated district-wide pages. The result is a cleaner knowledge base that's faster to configure and easier to keep accurate.
Natural Language Inbox Search
Onflo's new Inbox Search understands natural language and can help agents by quickly searching every ticket detail, and filtering the list instantly, to reduce the need to juggle tabs or use advanced search on Tickets. Now you can find any ticket in seconds by just typing in natural language what you're looking for.
That's not all.
The new release will also bring multiple other capabilities, like the ability to create a scheduled, recurring IT ticket, smarter ticket status handling, an updated dashboard, enhancements to MDM capabilities, and much more.
