Cookie Notice
- ABOUT THIS NOTICE
This Cookie Notice explains how K12 Insight, LLC d/b/a Onflo (“Onflo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites (the “Sites”) and on the platforms we deploy for our school district clients (the “Client Solutions”). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes more fully how we handle personal information.
- WHAT COOKIES ARE
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help sites work, remember your preferences, and let us understand how the Sites are used. Some cookies are set by us and some by third parties, such as our analytics providers.
- HOW WE USE COOKIES AND YOUR CHOICES
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate and secure the Sites. Where required by law, we place preference and analytics cookies only after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings control available on our Sites. The current, detailed list of cookies we use — including each cookie’s provider, purpose, and duration — is maintained in the Cookie Declaration available there.
- CHILDREN’S AND STUDENT PRIVACY
Our Sites are intended for district staff, administrators, and other adults, and are not directed to children under 13. We do not use cookies to build advertising or behavioral profiles of students, and we do not serve targeted advertising on the Client Solutions. Where we process student personal information, we do so at the direction of, and on behalf of, the school or district under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), as described in our Privacy Policy.
- UNIVERSAL OPT-OUT MECHANISMS AND DO NOT TRACK
Where required by applicable U.S. state law, we recognize and honor Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms, including the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals, we do not currently respond to them.
- CONTACT US
Your consent applies to www.onflo.com. When you contact us about your consent, please include your consent ID and the date. If you have questions about this Cookie Notice, contact us at privacy@onflo.com.
